The ‘Electronic Learning Management System (ELMS)’ are in the educational disciplines of the students during emergency. The ELMS project is a partnership between a number of organizations – Khejuri Public School, Das Foundation and NSCSM. There are many positive outcomes and benefits for students as well as teaching professionals associated with using information technology within education.
The Challenge
Providing Individualized Services and Care during Pandemic days is a Lighthouse Project with a number of partners including Khejuri Public School, Das Foundation and NSCSM. In the past there was no way for students, academics or teachers around Khejuri to organize online classes in a proper academic structure electronically which created numerous problems during pandemic days.
The Solution
The KPS LightHouse Project is about using technologies to promote a model of precision, proactive and personalized online education for the more than 1,000 students with and across Khejuri. The solution developed is an Electronic Learning Management System (ELMS) and Parent’s Portal App focused exclusively on the needs of students. The student portal is a mobile-first, cloud-based solution. No matter where education is delivered, information related to classes and tests can be collected, added to the student record and accessed by the KPS care team regardless of geographic location or care setting. The project also involves the development of a BI solution which enables teachers to securely use aggregated student data to analyze and gather insights for the wider analysis and monitoring to inform future care and guided development.
Teachers and guardians now have a streamlined view of student information through the Electronic Learning Management System (ELMS) – a single source of truth where all student educational information can be recorded and accessed from anywhere nationwide. As part of the ELMS, genetic data can be easily interpreted, and result decisions and agreed actions has been simplified.
